Monthly CO₂ Trap &Tank Rental in Austin $159.99 per trap
CO₂ Mosquito Trap Rental Program
The GreenGuard USA Trap Rental Program provides professional, full-service mosquito control without the need for equipment ownership. This option is designed for customers who want predictable monthly service, minimal upfront cost, and complete operational responsibility handled by our team.
All rental systems use the same commercial-grade CO₂ mosquito traps deployed in our ownership program. The difference is simple: we own and manage the equipment so you do not have to.
What’s Included in the Rental Program
Under the rental plan, GreenGuard USA retains ownership of all trapping equipment and is fully responsible for system performance, maintenance, and replacement.
Rental service includes:
Professional site assessment and trap placement
Installation of CO₂ mosquito traps and 20 pound CO₂ tank
Monthly CO₂ refills and system servicing
Monthly GreenGuard USA bait pack replacement
GreenGuard Barrier Treatment included with first month’s rental and available for additional charge on recurring visits
Trap maintenance, inspection, and component replacement
Seasonal optimization and placement adjustments
Customers receive continuous mosquito population reduction without equipment storage, depreciation, or long-term asset management.
Rental Service Levels
Rental service levels are determined by the number of traps required to effectively cover the property, not by arbitrary square footage alone.
Each service level is designed to intercept mosquito movement patterns and reduce breeding pressure across the property. Larger or higher-pressure environments require multiple traps to achieve meaningful population reduction.
During onboarding, GreenGuard USA evaluates:
Property size and layout
Vegetation density and shade patterns
Standing water and breeding zones
Areas of human activity and congregation
Based on this assessment, we recommend the appropriate rental tier and system configuration.
Rental Service Visit Process
Every GreenGuard USA service visit follows a standardized, technician-led process designed to ensure consistency, safety, and effectiveness.
Arrival and Site Assessment
The technician begins by reviewing the property layout, prior service notes, and any customer feedback since the last visit. Weather conditions and seasonal mosquito activity are also considered. Each CO₂ trap is inspected for proper function, airflow, power supply, and attractant performance. Any worn or compromised components are replaced as needed. Trap placement is adjusted seasonally to account for changes in vegetation, shade, humidity, and mosquito movement patterns. This ensures traps continue to catch mosquitoes effectively. The CO₂ tanks are exchanged or refilled according to the service schedule. Proper tank handling, transport, and secure placement procedures are followed at all times to ensure safety and system performance. Attractants are replenished as required, and capture chambers are cleaned and reset to maintain trapping efficiency.
Supplemental Control Measures
Technicians service larvicide traps and place plant-based mosquito repellent units around high-use areas such as patios, decks, and seating zones. These measures are designed to enhance comfort without spraying chemicals into the environment. The technician documents all actions taken during the visit, notes any property changes, and flags recommendations for future optimization. Customers are notified of completed service and any relevant observations.
Rental Service Frequency
Rental systems are serviced on a recurring schedule
Every 4 weeks for rental systems
Service frequency may be adjusted seasonally to maintain effectiveness during peak mosquito activity.
Why Choose the Rental Program
The rental program is ideal for customers who want:
Lower upfront cost
Fully managed mosquito control
No responsibility for equipment ownership or storage
Predictable, recurring service
Professional optimization throughout the season
Customers receive the same technology, service discipline, and technician expertise as ownership clients, without long-term asset commitments.
What the Rental Program Is Not
The GreenGuard USA rental program does not involve routine spraying, fogging, or broadcast pesticide application. We do not rely on chemical knockdown or indiscriminate insect control.
Our rental systems focus on targeted mosquito trapping and population reduction, not temporary relief through spraying.
Transitioning Between Rental and Ownership
Customers who begin in the rental program may have the option to transition to equipment ownership in the future. Our team can provide guidance when that transition makes operational or financial sense.
